Harrison D. Brown (1846-1940) was a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene in its founding years. He first learned of the Church of the Nazarene when he invited Rev. I. G. Martin and Rev. C. W. Ruth to hold revivals at his church in Seattle. He was the first district superintendent appointed in the Church of the Nazarene serving the Northwest District and later the Alberta Mission District, Canada. In addition to founding two Nazarene churches in Seattle, he started the Western Washington Holiness Association and the Washington Children's Home Society.
